Flash to pass hold open stopped working after LED lights installed
I have a 97, which the FPT function worked well, pull the stalk, high beam light is activated, you could pull it a few times, and then when you released, there was a three second delay, then they go down. It let you flash a few times before they would auto hide.
I installed a low profile kit, along with its relays that allow low and high beam to be on at the same time, But then I updated to LED, and the pause where it holds the light in the up position has gone away with the install of the new lights. The wiring is all the same, and I have dedicated high and low beams as before, but the moment the flash stalk is released, they go down, the 3 sec delay is gone, making quick warning flashes next to impossible.
Everything else on the car is converted to LED, and I made the modification to the turn signals to get rid of the quick flashing, I feel I am missing something for the flash to pass to work again.
I feel I am searching for incorrect terms or something
