There's a lot of hidden costs that people don't factor in. "Oh, I bought the Miata for $3000 and I'm going to spend $2000 on a turbo kit..."

Well, folks often forget things like gauges, lines, upgraded clutch, fuel system (injectors and fuel pump at a minimum), tuning, EM, exhaust system, WBO2, upgraded brakes, etc.

Then add in a lot for labor.

Trust me, they already tried screwing me with a

30% APR

**** THEM!

So then my granny told them to take the car and shove it up their *** and we just paid in full with my auto loan.

After taxes and everything, it equals about 4400. Still a pretty sweet deal if you ask me :]

BTW, The chrome on the rims are chipping off lol, they just look good from far away, but more pics soon!

I was just throwing out made-up numbers based on your earlier posts. I didn't get to page 3 and see that you bought a Miata.

First off, congrats!

I was just trying to say that if you spend $3k-4k on a car, in order to safely get to the 225-250whp range, you probably will spend a lot more than expected. There's always hidden costs. Especially if you buy something used, sometimes there's missing pieces or worn out parts that people forget.

she sits in the road......

now
problems:

window motor is going out. rolls down uber slow.
hub bearing possibly bad? [when i go over a bump is makes a high chime/grinding noise]
brakes have tad bit of rust
engine has a little bit of rust/antifreeze
smelt clutch a few times
few dents and dings

other than that, she runs great.

Your going to wreck it within 6 months. I'm calling it now based on your last few posts.

Dibs on the Bilsteins as long as you don't trash them in the process.

It was a test day at the track so i decided to take her.

Midnight mayhem is every other friday night where you just go to have a good time to watch or race.

........ I am having fun exploring the car.
I have already settled down with it, my shift are at normal..... like 3 grand. Don't trip, i am a good driver :]

Don't trip, I know where I have to limit myself and where I can have fun when there is nobody around and no curbs or nothin.

Them kids just race on the streets like dumbasses.
Not me, I take it to the track.
