Don't get me wrong, I really want to get this done without taking it to a shop, but I can't seem to get enough room to work. I thought I might be able to get to the top nut with a socket extension and get the bottom one using something like this because of the weird angle. Did you go in through the top, or behind the passengers side wheel?

Use a closed wrench. One that has a sloghtly angled head. I did it with one socan you.

Oh, it pains me to say it, but Faeflora is correct. Closed end wrench, and smack it with a mallet to break it loose. Once it's loose, you can use your fingers to get it out. Hardest part of the whole thing is getting the line reconnected without cross threading it.

I ------- did that ---- with the shittiest and cheapest harbor freight wrenches when I picked up my Miata, Gearhead. If Fae can do it, and if I can do it with harbor freight crap in a parking lot, you can do it.

P.S. Get a damn clutch line so you never have to go through this annoyance again.

You need a stubby ratcheting wrench that bends. I forget if those bolts are 12mm or 10mm, so something like this. With the correct one you get the bottom one from below and the top one with a 6 inch extension on the end of a socket.
