Getting car to run on stock ECU
Hey guys so I need to get my car running on the stock ecu for CA's new VSSI and I was wondering if it was feasible or not to do it with as little changes as possible to my current setup (and with minimal codes but I don't think the VSSI is looking for that since car is already smogged). It's a fully built turbo with a stand alone and it's been years since I put it together so I don't remember exactly what the stock ECU is looking for but I figured I'd get started with the basic stuff first.
1. Set wastegate open
2. Switch wideband to narrowband mode (Would this even work? I'm running an AEM 30-4110 but forgot how O2 sensors are wired)
3. Swap fuel injectors (1050s to stock)
4. Put MAF on kinda like this (timestamp @ 7:35) since the turbo is in the way
5.Plug swap maybe? Currently running the NGKs everyone says to run
Rear O2 sensor and EGR system is deleted so it'd throw codes for those but I think I'd be ok if the car starts and runs since VSSI is reading the OBD2 for vehicle info and safety faults which the NB really doesn't have. Do ya'll think I'd make it to the shop and back with this and what other codes would pop up?
