Well I am putting in my order now. I wanted R package lips, but people want too much for them.

Nope, not California lol. I don't wear a hat usually, I have real tattoos instead of shoes, and I hate Abercrombie even considering I've been in one of their stores, once. Nice to meet you though; it seems we both think that type of person is a doucher.

They claim it's stronger as the difference, but until someone tests them side-by-side with the same tests, know one knows for sure.

I could really care less though, if you think they're doing something wrong by selling a copy, don't buy the product. My GV lip was just as pliable as the knockoff when I installed it (I didn't run it over with my SUV to test it though), and it hasn't broken yet. I keep it coated with a UV protectant so it doesn't dry out and I also don't hit things.
Correct.

And yeah, good on ya for not hitting things.

Since it's no show car, I'm preparing an X-Prepared autocrosser and bought a GV lip from R-Speed about a year ago. I'll trade it straight across for the more flexible bogus version as it's destined to be banging off cones and trailer ramps for it's entire life.

I'll do a face to face trade. No shipping.

I'm in Houston, but get to Dallas, Austin, and San Marcos on a regular basis.

i do. I've been banned from that forum because i shed light on topics like lame over-posting of the same cars with rims and coilovers, people ripping off other people but its ok because of the large group that supports a member (the socal group)
Now this whole butt hurt "fake copys" thing happens and even a forum sponsor for M.net backed out, because support of fake parts. Yet some douche from so cal is having a GB for knockoff te37 wheels, and its all good..
I only have an account their to view the FS section... If i post something usually i get the "Oh like the car you BOUGHT" replies... And btw someone has the same Yanni avatar as you on CR... lol

LOL, probably the guy who is REALLY in the pic. Although, I don't THINK that Lance Schall is the CR type.

Can anybody confirm these are more durable than the GV? Having shattered two of the GV lips I gave up on them and have been running a stock R lip.

I’m looking into an Aero makeover now and I am considering this lip and maybe adding more to it with a flat panel under the front part of the engine compartment and sticking a little forward of this lip.

I went off track and cut the grass. It didn't die. But I haven't hit anything honestly hard.

So far so good. I also attached the sides of my splitter to the bottom of it and it didn't come apart. Good sign.

Dam that is pretty much exacly what I am looking to do with it The lip with the splitter that is. Also have the fender flares and a GTC 200 wing going on.

Thanks for the pic. The lip is ordered.

Decent sized sheet of corrugated plastic
Misc couplers, threaded rod, washers and strips of metal from hardware store.
add welder and some spare time.

Cut some stuff... measure some stuff.... raid the misc bolt/nut box and make splitter.

Basically the back of the splitter is using fence/door hinges and the front has adjustable couplers. The sides are attached to the lip itself.

I have the lip also. I've hit some big dips that hit it hard, and its still looking new beyond the scrapes on the bottom.
