Default Halps Ploize (F/P Relay, spark blowout)

So I had a problem starting my car. Pinpointed it to the f/p relay under the steering wheel. Grounding the F/P in diagnosis panel gets the car started.

Replaced it. Car starts fine now. However now I am getting little kicks and the car gave out at idle and didnt restart. Jumped the F/P to GND and the car started, if I would pull it out, it dies at idle. So I had to drive home with the F/P and GND jumped with a paper clip. Is there another relay I don't know about? Does the relay under the dash have to be grounded (via the bracket that holds it on)?

Second, what does spark blowout feel like? I'm getting a random wall (car feels like it hits a wall, I pull off gas and I get a little popping in the exhaust and then the car continues driving fine) sometimes when I am WOT. Very rare, happened three times so far however.

What parameters does the AIT control? For instance, does it put more fuel in as the charge gets colder?

How imperative is it that the MSPNP case is grounded against the rear fire wall?

This would be mighty helpful if you guys can help me with this. My first project car = a lot of headaches.

Further investigation shows a faint escaping air sound that seems to be coming from inj 4 (back injector).

When I push down on the injector, sound goes away a bit. What the ****. Car is clearly running on 3cyl

p.s. checking plugs now

Yeah seriously, I get all the neglect :(

No visible leakage. Just making what sounds like a vacuum leak.

I'm considering buying a obx header, hooking up **** bird exhaust, intake and selling this car. It is killing me. Might be part out soon.

So you do have a leak on #4 injector?
Sound goes away when you push down on the fuel rail?
Might be time to get some new O-rings, you know the trick to get these on without issues? It's called vaseline!
I don't know if this is your only issue, but if you have a leak at the injector, you need to get rid of it before you can look for other problems.

Leaky injector cause it to run on 3 cyl? Or at least sound like it? Sounds like a subby idling. Idle speed is normal.

Where can I get O-rings for a RX7 460?

I've come to the decision that unless this turns out to be a very minor fix, I am parting out the car. This is the last straw. 5 things have broken in 3 months.

Have you checked the injector for function/leak? I wouldn't give up just yet.

Not just yet. How safe is it to run a car on 3 cyl? I have to go about 6 miles.

Safe? You mean how bad is it for the engine? Depends on the problem. I don't think I'd drive mine 6 miles on misfire before I figured out exactly what was going on first.

Looks like I might need to get a flatbed then.

As it looks, I might part out and then buy a clean clean NB and start over. This particular car has just been a nightmare. I think it might be cursed.

I had a similar issue and could only start the car with f/p and earth connected. Turned out that I have a bad earth connection where the wiring loom connects to the ECU. I have a link ECU, but I see you have a MS. I would check that your wiring loom/ecu connection is good. By the way make sure you disconnect the earth lead on the battery first, otherwise you can short out the ECU and/or other critical parts...don't ask me how I know.

As for the engine not running on all cylinders. One of the parts that shorted out when I unplugged the wiring loom from the ECU was the ignitor. This caused the engine to run on two cylinders only. I had to replace the ingitor.
