It moves!!

The new clutch cylinders and the new clutch line (very pimp by the way) are now all in the car. The hardest part was taking out the old clutch lines. I had to adjust the clutch engagement again as it was still picking up right off the floor. It seems to be working fine now, but the pedal pressure is very light. Much lighter than it was before all of this. Is this normal with the new hard lines?

I think I am going to give it a day for the bubbles to settle out of the line then bleed it again. Maybe this will remove some of the squishyness (yes that is an official term). But at least it moves.

Funny note; never ask your wife to help you with the car. I was trying to flush out all of the old fluid from the lines and I asked her to fill up the clutch reservoir. I even put a funnel in the reservoir to make it so she wouldn't spill it. However, I guess it wasn't apparent that this was not oil and she shouldn't dump in the whole can. I was already under the car when I heard the fluid running out of the drivers side quarter panel. So I cleaned up as much as I could and I hit the rest of it with some water. Hope that is good enough.

Hit the left over with Westly Wheel bright. It is cheap and will eat the oil that you can't touch physically. Make sure you rinse it thoroughly.

Ps. If you have a car that is covered in oil in the engine bay. You can spray it down with this stuff and hit it wit a brush. It will look like it never leaked. Rinse very very well with water.
