Help, ISC Racing Air Dam install
It's more that I haven't gone out looking yet. I still have to redo one of the rivets and I have to drive the car around a bit to make sure the new position doesn't scrape. Once that is fine, Then I can throw it in the trunk of the other car and take it around for repaint estimates.
If it's going to be tracked though, and you said you're going to get the car repainted later, why not just rattle it? You could even get color-matched paint if you wanted from like paintscratch.com.
Yeah, that is a good point. Since I plan to go up to 15x9 wheels and pulled fenders, I figured I would just get the whole car painted in one swoop at some later date. This goes double if I rip out the soft top in favor of a permanent hard top or just get a non-matching hardtop.
Actually, thanks for pointing me at that paintscratch website. My natural inclination is already towards rattlecanning everything, so this would definitely be in character for me. Using flat black, I rattlecanned an RPK, all the braces I made for the miata and all the exposed metal when I cut a gap to put the oilcooler.
I like the look of flat black paint for some reason. Only reason I don't paint the car that color is because everyone does it already. And I guess I kind of like the color of my car.

I've seen a lot of flat black track cars, but not a lot of flat black Miatas.
I already prepped the dam and my paint and clearcoat is on the way from paintscratch.
If I make a ruin of it, I'll just sand it back down again and go for flat black.
I also decided that I'll touch up the rough spots on the nose while I'm at it.
