help me choose a clutch!
What kind of car? The last time I saw this it was on a Supra with an ACT. Turns out the hsop that did the original install screwed up the placement of the shims on the throwout. Of course that wouldn't be an issue with a Miata...
ACT clutches are notorious for low enagement points on the miata. when I tried to adjust mine out it would just cause it to slip as it moved the engagement point too far to acheive a good spot on the pedal. some people dink-around with and extend the actuator rod with so-so results.
any inputs on the spec 1.6 stage 2 vs stage 3?

i'm considering the spec 3 depending on pedal feel and driveability...
my clutch went out this past wednesday and i'm buying another this coming wednesday so inputs are greatly apreciated...

a blown na. Its bad. Actually its so bad, I don't think I'm going do the ACT clutch.
I have a Spec stage 3 and i am very happy with it. It has about 1000 miles on it and while parking lots and stop n go can be a bit annoying, its very drivable on the street and has perfect feel and engagement.
