When you say you changed the coil pack, did you just unplug it and plug a new SET in, or did you swap individual coils? Plug the one that's firing into the wiring for the one that's not. If it doesn't work it's almost certainly the extended wiring, as you've replaced everything else. Or just tear apart the wiring and check it.

I said a while back to hook up a multimeter on continuity and check all the wires going back to the ECU. Will be a PITA but will figure out if it is wiring.

Just flipped the wires in the coil and now 1 and 4 fire (which is still 2 and 3 but in a different coil) and 2 and 3 don't. So its my wiring i believe. I'm going to cut apart the solder joints and see if there's any cracks in the solder.

That looks gorgeous.

By chance did the PO have a white cane with a red tip on it?
Or maybe a doggy with a harness on it?

edit://I thought only cheap bastards with Volvos did that...

Is it over? I see a bunch of pictures of crappy wiring, but no broken wires/solder.

Or you could, you know, take the harness and save me a headache . I'm going to bring my stim to make sure that your MS is firing correctly. While your wiring is totally fucked, I still want to make sure everything is A-OK with the MS and harness.

How long does it take to pull out and put in a harness?
