Well honestly a 3071 is huge, anything bigger makes spool hard to use before having to shift. 4k spool is about as far as I can handle, and with a turbo that large I would want to bump my redline to 8k (meaning I need to think about springs too). I want to see your new turbo's results when you put it in though, LOL.

But thanks for the details, it's informative.
Apart from where I said to upgrade to solids, everything I said is relevant and will still help you meet your goals. And dont forget more natural flow = less lag.

The *only* change to be made between the dyno above and the next will be the intake manifold, so the current numbers answer AFR, HP & TQ. Total boost was 10psi, under full throttle it starts building positive pressure around 1800 and hits 10psi by 3k. As plumbed, if cruising/steady-state at or above 3500, a squeeze of the throttle gives immediate positive pressure and pulls strong throughout.

The post-IM install dyno should be up soon after I return from my next business trip.

Well I ran a few pulls tonight, I need to clean up the fuel map. I was running 10.6 average AFR at 14psi.. pig rich, and my injectors were at 85-90% duty off and on (so 75% real duty I'd imagine), guess I'm getting ID 1000cc injectors before my dyno..

Keep in mind my current map was setup for the 2560 I swapped out for this china 2871.

Edit- At what PSI does the stock FPR for the 97 start to bleed PSI? I kind of wonder if I'm seeing lower then desired fuel pressure. If that's the case I'd need to consider an afpr too.. bah!
