The brighting vent looks about as afterthought as anything- the one thing cutting a hole has going for it is the lack of looking like it was glued on. Maybe it's because the outer contour has nothing to do with the lines around the parking lights... or is it mounted lower than designed?

I'm a hustler sympathizer. I fully understand the struggle of trying to work on a car without being there or having the time. That's when the trouble happens, the mind wanders and the 'net fabbing begins.

I wonder how well a cooper scooper would work in the bumper.

I think it would look better due to softer lines...i would just cut off the scooper part inside and paitn it black to look cleaner, voila, you are done.

but safe to say that the stock bumper and hood with the begi scooper are not going to get the job done on the track with a:
2" radiator
12" shroudless fans
undertray
shrouding on the front of the radiator
24-row oil cooler with a hold cut in the bumper to give it fresh air

...right?

Stop it, you're enabling him. It's our duty to shame him into actually working on his car.

you're shame does nothing for motivation. The $250 in track time $140 in hotel that I've already spent for 9/20 are my motivation.

HOW ABOUT GET CAR BUILT AND MEASURE TEMPS FIRST?
zomg...an idea that makes sense! Oh noes!

Concentrate on getting the car done and shaken down without overloading so many projects before your track day...I don't see why you want to rush a car into completion then throw it on the track all while praying its not going to explode.

We will have to do some work to it......it is hanging on the wall now with Neon letters from a an old Carwash....C A R S has been screwed to it.
If you don't mind a few holes that need to addressed. Also had some DIY extractor vents at one point in time, removed them, and skinned old large holes with fiberglass matt and kitty hair.
If that doesn't bother you, then ummmmmm.......OK.
Let me know

No worries, it would be more trouble than it was really worth.
Yep, I have a metal brake, and some fab skills that I don't mind lending out.
We will atleast have you at the track w/ some peace of mind, and with a car that is prolly going to be scarying the **** out of you.
