I'm thinking engine management, then swap, then turbo right?

That's basically what I did. Install Emanage, then the autotune, then reinstall the blower when I got it back..... <G>

If you have a 99 donor car... I say, do the 1.8 brake upgrade, and seal the diff too for a 1.6 car... you'll want them eventually anyway. <G>

Dave,
I plan on stealing the engine, rear end, brakes, flywheel, back up trans, another set of wheels, then sell everything else. Not a bad deal for $700 on a car hit hard in the passenger door.

Will the steering wheel cross over?

The problem with the 99+ wheels is the new air-bags included... I don't believe they are compatable with the older sensors used in a M1.... I remember looking at that a long time ago.... and I believe there might have been one that did the swap. I always liked the 3-spoke Nardi, that came stock.....

I hate to say it, but you might want to check that other board, and see if they have any old threads.....

Dave,
meh, not my primary concern at the moment.

Do the MS and and engine swap, then tune NA. Then add the turbo and just tune the boost. Nothing redundant about that and you'll go into the turbo tuning being familiar with the ecu/software.
