Let's come up with a new hood design.

Somewhere around $225. Cost on them is around $190 with materials and labor, but I need a little wiggle room with each in case something happens. Not looking to make anything, just a cheap hood.
Just so that I have everything out in the open, there are no warranties expressed or implied with these hoods. I am making these knowing a great deal about fiberglass and its strength, but have never made a hood before. If you want to buy one and don't like it,for whatever reason, there are no returns. I will get all the pictures to help people see the quality of fitment and finish work. Also, I will be sending out a few for reviews before sending them out to everyone else, so that there can be some respected member honest reviews on them. I expect there may be some very minor finish imperfections.
Once again, I would classify this as a track hood that may have minor finish imperfections. Hood pins will be required.
Just to cover my ***. This may turn out completely perfect when i pop the first one out.

OK I'll try to make it though I am not sure I can make Oct 30. I still have a lot to do on the LS1 car and that is the one I would want the extractor hood for. The turbo car is a NB anyway.

How is hood clearance in that area? This will stick down about 1/2-1" in the middle. Basically follow the top of the headlight lines and that is where it will stick down.

The front of the radiator is in the stock NA location. However it is much thicker than stock, and taller.

ZX-Tex you take off the throttle body from the engine and you make a 90 degree bend and then you mount the throttle body on there.
This will give you A LOT of room at the radiator. about 2 extra inches maybe even more and you're not going to need that 90 degree rubber bend.

I am making the mold first for the non molded one then making the mold for the molded one after that. That way the non molded has a good fit and not just a cut out fit.
Since I am making two molds, would you guys with the molded in lights like it if the hood was just smooth and no headlight lines?
