Let's play "Name that sensor"
I am in the process of swapping an ubercharged '99 engine into my '92. I have most everything accounted for, but wanted a second opinion on several things.
Can anyone verify my identification and approach?
The first three are from the 1.8 '99 motor
Part number one: I think is the idle speed controller. I wonder if we
can do without it as the wiring is totally different than the 1.6
Part number two: I believe to be the exhaust gas recirculation
control. Thinking of blocking of the control plate and plugging the
opening on the header and not installing the crossover tube.
Part number three: Secondary optical timing sensor? Thinking of just
leaving it unconnected.
The last one is from the 1.6.
Part number four: Unknown sensor at the back of the block near the water outlet.
Cross posted on m.net as well. Thanks for looking.

Thanks guys. Question on the temp sensor for the dash, I would obviously like to preserve this function. Do any of you know the voltage and corresponding value for the sender? I was thinking I might use the eManage Ultimate to read the ecu temp input and output it to the dash gauge. Anyone (Joe Perez are you listening?) know if thats a reasonable approach?
