Motor Mount Confirmation

Motor Mount Confirmation
Hi all,
From my research on this site, it seems the consensus is that the competition mounts (NAY1) are perfect for the car, and the oem ones are too soft, whereas any other ones are too hard for the street.
My question is: Has anyone seen any noticeable (or negligible) NVH changes with a hardtop on? I found some posts over on grassroot Motorsports where they said it was unbearable with a permanent hardtop ( which is what I run 24/7).
Interestingly, my local dealer ( in Canada) can get these competition mounts for $38.61 CAD !
Thanks fellas

I also run a hardtop full time and honestly didn't feel much when I had comp mounts. NVH does increase in general with hardtop if you have an exhaust drone/urethane exhaust hangers, but the contributions to switching to stiffer mounts was always far less than the exhaust in my own experience.

Comp mounts do not make a big difference in NVH. I can't tell they are comp mounts and not regular ones really. The only difference may be attributed to the fact that they are fresh and not broken.

I just had the engine mounts changed to the competition mounts. Verified with the white stripe on them ( steal at $38 CAD = 28 USD each @ dealer) .
The change in the car is monumental. Shifting is improved in every way, the level of vibrations has plummeted throughout the rev range. It now only vibrates at idle - which some intake manifold cleaning / seafoam should fix.
Thanks fellas!
