Default Motor mount replacement

Replacing the PO's AWR motor mounts with a set of Mazdaspeed mounts. Passenger's side was cake, but the 2.5" downpipe on the driver's side looks like it's going to make things challenging.
Any tips for replacing the driver's side, or should I just quit being a shitass and pull the dp?

As dopey and shallowly explained/researched as they can often be, Donut Media did a decent job of filming engine mount replacements on an NA. They put the front end on jack stands, took the wheels off, and came at them from below .
The driver side is at 7-ish minutes.

Driver's side was a cakewalk, even with the 2.5" downpipe. Jacked the engine up as high as it would go and there was plenty of room.
