Default my darn turbo fell off twice today!!!!

so i drove 3.5 hours to Englishtown NJ to attend East Coast Bash All Stars Drift Day, drove the first session, and right at the end of it i noticed that i was giving it more and more throttle to keep the drift but it wasnt ********. Thought that it was just getting a little heated and opened the hood etc. to check it over and found the turbo to basically sitting sideways on the manifold, the only thing that was holding it was the DP. anywhooz i went to lowes and got new bolts, lost my wallet, found it. ate lunch, installed the bolts. did another session.low and behold same thing. But the bolts barley stayed in the holes of the turbo. I have heard of this problem but had never had to deal with it my self. What different types of methods do you all use? the wire through bolts and or those crazy washers....?

ooh yeah pics.

Can't really give you a solution for studs coming out.. for nuts/washer issues get the airplane wire kit... works like a charm.

I don't have an answer for you. I know Paul asked Bryce in an earlier post if he had a flex section. He said that may be why his turbo bolts sheared off. ( this may not corralate????)

Anyway, I would find a commercial bolt specialty shop. They have any grade stud and bolt available. They probably have some predrilled with holes for wiring.
They usually have a min $5-10 buy. But extra bolts and muts are always handy.
Usually everytown of 50,000 pop has one.

i did tear **** up, the course was so damn easy.... when he hit me it wasnt that scary, it happend so quick. this being the first event back for both of us was cool. but when we lined up next to each other I told him that he was going to lead us and instead of him spinning and me hitting him he blew his 3rd gear down the middle straightaway...
