Is my fuel pump hosed???

Makes a new noise every time you turn key on.. It did sit for like 2 years with fuel in the tank, all of which evaporated I believe.. Put in 10 gallons of fresh fuel and ran the pump until fuel shot out the supply for fuel rail, installed hose and ran the pump several more times then tried to start. Noticed every pump cycle it sounded a bit.. worse.
It's a nearly brand new 255lph too.
Did it died?

I did just remember using an unknown FPR cause it was cleaner, wonder if it might be contributing to no fuel pressure or if 100% pump hit block.
Pulled the bolts off fuel rail and popped an injector, fuel hardly leaked out.
