That DP is a beauty for sure..

I thought I read somewhere that, ideally, you want exhaust ID to gradually INcrease? But yours DEcreases... I'm not saying they made your DP backward, but did they?

I have never heard that. Its always either stays the same or decreases. Mine is done that way is because i have a 2.25" catback so mating a 3" downpipe to 2.25" catback is impossible.

I'd guess that you'd want the larger dia section as close to possible to the turbo as the exhaust is hotter and takes up more volume. So a 3 to 2.25 or whatnot is better than 2.25 to 3. IMHO.

Get a full 3" exhaust.
