Default My project..

I didn't get a kit but I did use some BEGI stuff. It's not a DIY because i'm having a local shop do the install with some fab. hopefully this is the spot to post this. Anyway here are some shots of the progress.

Downpipe

Wastegate dump

Oil feed

Intercooler

Driver Side

Passenger Side

There is still a bunch to do and the shop i'm having the work done should have a dyno in the next couple of weeks. So the estimated time frame is ~2 weeks with Dyno tune. There are a few things i'd do difrerently if i was going to do it again but so far i'm pretty happy with how things are turning out.

They do good work for sure but that is one of the things I think I'd do different. The guy I'm having do the install has just as good of fab skills so I think the fit and finish would have been better had he build the IC. I'm not slighting BEGI in the least. The local guy would have the huge advantage of having the car in front of him.

It's amazing how well some people can weld.

Yeah the WG dump seems pretty good! But I would have welded the flange in the inside too.

All is in the practice! Ahh I wish I could find a fab shop and make manifold and DP all the day! What a dreaaaaam!

I just got the car on a Dyno today.

at around 7 PSI I’m seeing 180 whp on straight Dyno Dynamics numbers. That's about 10-20 more HP than i was thinking it would do.

The guy that Dyno'd the car uses an 18% correction to emulate Dynojet numbers which puts it at about 212 whp.

The car started with 113 whp in stock form on a Dynojet.

I'll try and scan the Dyno print out and get it posted tomorrow.

Still have some warm idle issues to work through but i'm happy so far.
