The guy to get a miata alignment done in the area is Lester at Apex Automotive Engineering in Marlboro mass. Corner weight is 50 bucks and 80 for an alignment to your exact specs. And I mean exact. Does it with you in the car, takes well under and hour because he knows what he's doing. May make fun of your for your madd tyte jdm yo drifto setup.

well i have heard of him, but im all set with the alignment as my car has already hit the track, and as for the "madd tyte yo drifto setup" your a ------- tard, 90% of the parts in my car were manufactured in the USA, by a reputable company or by myself. You joined last month, have a little respect. And before you make dumb comments about jdm, look at the car.

Tomei's are Kaaz units with the same plates rearranged for a little less aggressive settings. Tomei's are setup to be more "streetable"

i dont see how they would be less agressive. they are designed to have very very aggressive lock up, and they are 2way, where the kaaz miata diff is a 1.5 way

some stuff for 2013

AWR motor mounts 95A durometer

MiataRoadster short shifter

And some freshening up

Black wrinkle valve cover

I disassembled the alternator and glass beaded the case and cleared it. I painted the copper band black

Also i have a new gates racing timing belt and new track dog tensioner and idler pulleys, and some valve train stuff as i am re-shimming my head back into spec.

Still on the list

3.636 ring and pinion
Weir performance solid pinion spacer kit
Diff bearings
Garage Star aluminum water pump and alternator pulleys
AEM TRU-BOOST+ Tuning on C-16 25+ psi

You people are gonna give me ****, but i went with a welded open diff, after being told a custom spool is gonna cost me $800-$1000 and im trying to cut cost a bit to be able to have the car ready to go in the next few months to actually drive more than one event this year.

Nice stuff. I want to see this car cruising around Cromwell with a welded diff soon.

Do you have a spare Pass window glass btw? Still haven't gotten one since my car was broken into and you are about 1 mile from my apartment lol.

Welcome to the club of PITA engine mounting and massaged gums

Or it can just be my early version of the VVT mounts (file needed to clear the pan in one place) or a bent subframe.

They can be seen as solid from all but theoretical perspectives. Bring the BFH and large prybar to the party

It's not a question of the mounts being skewed, it's just a PITA t get the engine lined up just right to mount them.
But I'm stupid and keep the trans in there, so i add the mounts last, to a completed engine-trans-PPF-diff situation. It's most probably easier to add the mounts to an engine sans trans (adding the trans last).
Changing a small part might change the smartest route/order to do things.
YMMW , as always.
