To M2cupcar: the bearing on the left side is oem bearing without bushing, after approx. 80.000 miles. On the right side (show with pen) is new bearing from xtd kit with bushing. Sizes are exactly the same.

Looks to me like the problem IS the "bore" on the pp diaphragm springs. The springs are either spaced incorrectly on the pp or they're the wrong springs- too short.

Aimco may be "playing stupid" so he doesn't have to refund or return product. Especially since you're an "international" customer.

I'm not too optimistic about getting results from Aimco given 'his' repsonses. You might try visting the parts store with a list of throw out bearings to try. Definitely try the 80 rx7 and 87 B2000 truck bearings. Check the mating surface of the bearing ring to the springs, making sure there's good over lap so when the clutch pedal is pressed the bearing will push the springs. If none of those work, you might move on to some fwd stuff like 323, protege...

Bring your fork and OE throw out bearing to the parts store so you can reference the assembly. That way you'll be sure the bearing will "fit" both sides of the assembly.

Post back and let us know what you find. Could be good info for others buying one of these, knowing there's a risk and "hopefully" a resolution.

Just installed my xtd clutch, second time. I upgraded bearing with hardened o-ring, it is possible to shift any gear without problem, now.
I would like to have a ride, but the weather is still not fine.
So I can begin with install eaton m45 supercharger...

Nice job- just make sure it's not dragging on the stuff that doesn't spin. So how'd you do it? existing part machined?

The only thing I foresee is noise created by the ring between the pp springs and the TO bearing if there's tolerance (I hope there is, because you don't want that stuffs "riding" the crank).

Ring is from steel, cnc machined and then hardened /cause that colouring/ .Then it was squeezed and glued /with loctite bearing glue/ on the bearing.

yes i know where slovakia is man i was just makin sure you wheren't messing with us. I can read it fine but some people seem to have trouble with transposed gramar for non native english speakers. Over all you are one of the better english speacking slavs ive met to date. In germany they where often lucky to learn german much less English. So GL man.

Ok.
So i took a chance and ordered a XTD stage 3 clutch. Installed it the same time i did my TC setup. And that's where all the nightmares begun. My TOB is shot and replacing the pressure plate with my old cusco one and the TOB with my Mazda one didn't work.
I'm screwed.
IU'll update you guys on what Jimmy at Aimco says.

Half (if not all) of these clutch "manufacturers" just out-source there parts. Perhaps 12 year old Jhong was up past his bedtime the night before he made it.
