Default NA Miata silly gear oil question

I recently bought a miataroadster shifter kit and decided it would be a good idea to change my transmission oil and turret oil at the same time in my 94 NA. I bought 2 quarts of Ford Fluid XT-M5-QS Full Synthetic Manual Transmission Fluid for the transmission and have Mobil 1 75W-90 Synthetic Gear Lube that I was going to use for the turret.

The question before I do this is if there is any issue using 2 different gear oils in the turret and in the transmission? I was under the impression that they weren't connected so this should be fine. Or should i run slightly less transmission oil and save 3 ounces of the Ford oil for my turret as well?

Thanks for the input.

You are correct that they are not connected. I have even used a VERY heavy oil in the turret to eliminate a "buzz".

Just to clarify, 6-speeds ARE connected. Any 5 speed is not.

I use 30 wt in the turret and 75/90 in the trans. 5sp. No issues.
