Laguna Seca is normally a 95 db track on a big event. And for club events is even lower. UFO runs a 92 sound limit but rarely enforces it (I ran my CSP car open header many times there). And Thunderhill has a sound limit as well, ever since the dairy farmers bitched.

Thunderhill is 103, Buttonwillow is 103, etc. He will be fine.

Yup, that's exactly how I've run mine for the past year or two, track only of course. Although I run a 2.5" cat. I did have to put it through DMV testing, and it measured 93.4 dB at 2500rpm with the mic right behind the rear bumper. Limit in Oregon is 93, so I went to another place the next day and they passed me without checking
Are you going to put some sort of gutted dash plastic back in? It weighs next to nothing ya know, looks much better too.
