I like it. Glad to see you've come to the dark side.
You beat me to it, I was going to post up mine soon.
Everything after my downpipe (keep in mind this cat is hollowed out) it's all 3":

um Sav I would check into that.
Laguna Seca is normally a 95 db track on a big event. And for club events is even lower. UFO runs a 92 sound limit but rarely enforces it (I ran my CSP car open header many times there). And Thunderhill has a sound limit as well, ever since the dairy farmers bitched.

Thunderhill is 103, Buttonwillow is 103, etc. He will be fine.
Of course it also depends on how they measure: dB or dB(A). Where I was last Wednesday there are three sound check points along the track both left and right (alternating and usually where the racing line is). All are corner exit WOT points of course...
Execution of environmental measures like this is to be expected from a country that doesn't seem to care about the Kyoto protocol either. Still win though...

Yup, that's exactly how I've run mine for the past year or two, track only of course. Although I run a 2.5" cat. I did have to put it through DMV testing, and it measured 93.4 dB at 2500rpm with the mic right behind the rear bumper. Limit in Oregon is 93, so I went to another place the next day and they passed me without checking
Are you going to put some sort of gutted dash plastic back in? It weighs next to nothing ya know, looks much better too.
