Edit: The actual goal of this was to save weight. The stock exhaust weighs nearly 20lbs. This weighs around 4.

I'd love to see/hear some clips of this thing at wot, cruise, idle, etc. Otherwise pretty cool but like slutz said not much to look at.

i've been thinking about side exit exhaust but have been scared of the noise levels and getting a ticket

I'm pretty sure he's turning this into a track only car. Or at least I assume he is by stripping, caging, and removing the exhaust.

i cant imagine myself owning an SUV or truck to pull the car. the only suv i like is the new audi, and the only truck i've liked is the s10 extreme....but i still cant see myself driving either.

one day i'll have to buy one though when i decide to finally make the miata for track and/or decide to buy a bike

I had a civic with a shorty exhaust like that. for about 18 hours. it SUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU UUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU UUCKED.

at least tell me it's 3 inch pipeage.

3" downpipe, turn down is 4"

2.75" DP, 3" test pipe, 3.25" to 3.5" turndown. I don't **** around, you should know that.

edit: 3.5, 4, whatever, it's ******* huge

I'm planning to do essentially the same thing, but I want it routed over in front of the passenger rear tire, so it's pointing furthest from my ear.
