Had an incident this weekend. The "D" shaped part of the nose where the fender and nose screw together broke on both sides. Has anyone repaired the tabs before with any type of epoxy based resin or used any type of metal to fix it?

 

(upside down) L shaped Alu on the in/underside of the damage clamps it in place. Glue the Metal to the inside of the bumper skin with some filler glue.
If you can stand small screws visible on the outside that would work too.

I have this problem on my rear skin, but race finish allows me to use a cable strip and cover it with colored duct tape.
