Anyway, all it takes to build a car is patience, cash, and tools. It's not rocket science unless you're building a rocket car.
I'm surprised you never got yours to the elite level with all you've put into it.
the only advantage I had with this car is I knew its entire history from day one.

you want a reason?
here's some:
I felt cramped in it
I couldn't drive my kid around in it
The weather here is not black-miata-friendly (too hot or too cold)
It was too easy to want to get into big trouble on public roads
Sure it's a fun car and fast like whoa, but really I've reached a part of my life where having a highly modified impractical car is less fun than not having to worry about it. It had become a liability so off it went.

lol
Why not?
I feels ya
That's the #1 reason I didn't put the turbo stuff in my daily. I would be in jail.
If we have any sort of an economy in 18-years, buy a racecar. I'll still be racing Miatas then.
People give me a lot of **** over my old, ugly daily. Even though I make great cash, reality is that it cost me about $47/month to insure, tires are $240/set, oil change is $23, and I get over 35mpg. I save a mega-ton of money by not owning "something respectable".

It is nice to go to a place where you can go wide open without fear of retribution.
