Default Oil leak question

The other day I replaced the valve cover gasket and I apparently caught it on the edge of the head and tore it so I got minimal oil splatter from that before I re-replaced it.

When I was doing the twisty flush, there was a LOT of oil on the sides of the oil pan, the bottom of the bellhousing, and the bottom of the trans.

The tiny little oil leak I caused wouldn't make all of that oil, not to mention some of it was really old. Where are the common problem areas on this motor?

Oil pan gasket? Oil dipstick tube?

Thanks,
Brian

there is no oil pan gasket.

the oil dipstick uses an o-ring. if it's leaking there it's obvious of the source.

the cas 0-ring would be my first suspect.
