Default Oil supply please help

I have a 99 Miata in my garage that is nearly finished. I do have one problem. do i have to take the intake manifold off to be able to get my oil supply? it seems nearly impossible to do it with it on

It's not impossible - but you're right, it's NEARLY impossible.

You've got to know the oil pressure sender by feel and figure out how to get tools in there to turn the fittings while not hitting the oil cooler.

It's a PITA to do it with the engine OUT of the car with the oil cooler there.
