What about the 17's? :gay: Not to popular with this crowd and I'll prob go 15's eventually, these came on the car and are paid for so i'm happy with the BFG Gforce Zrated rubber that's on them.

I guess I should chime in that I am also a 16" fan. I have the same wheels as durden, but with a polished lip.

I'm a 16s fan too, simply because I can give up that last 10th of performance for something that looks better. That said, when my '01 arrives, I might have to spring for the 6ULs so I can put some 225s on 'em. 8 wides are nice. What retard at Mazda decided to go with a 16X6.5 stock wheel on the 01+ 6.5? They could have at least done a 16X7.

14, 15, 16s are all nice IMO. I'll take any as long as they have good sticky tires on them. Those grids are really a looker.

Frank,

If you go with something wider, let me know what you do with your stockers. I think they'd look good on my 91.

Will do. We might need to hook up with someone for a road trip though. Shipping from Balt-Atl would hardly be worth it.

After getting the parts and taking the time to install and set everything up, I am done. Iced the cake with an alignment today and it is a rockin setup. The basics perform as well as people have made them out to be and are absolutely comfortable on even fairly bumpy roads here in town and when it comes time to make a quick corner at 40 or 50 mph, it is more than up to the task. Further, it looks really awesome with the bronze heliums against the red paint. I also may consider NB or Fatcat upper shock mounts in the future if hitting the bumpstops becomes an issue.

My alignment:
-1.25* camber front
-1.75* camber rear
1/16 toe out front
1/16 toe in rear
4.5* caster
12.75" hub to fender height in front
13.25" hub to fender height in rear

Ill post some pictures tomorrow Next up on my plate is swapping the brakes and rear end from my 97 onto my 90, reinstalling the Begi turbo kit, and making another stab at megasquirt.

My set arrives in two weeks. They've been pre-ordered since November 1st. He designed the wheel for the Miata, to fit the most rubber possible without modifying the fenders. A bitching wheel, if I must say so myself.

I'll post pictures when they arrive.

PS- Yes, the hot rod stance has been rectified.
oh my god! That is the best looking NA I've seen. I must get an air dam. I will get some nice 16's when I can afford it. 16's for some reason make the hard-top look super dope.

I am a fan of 15's or smaller but no doubt looks phenomenal. Top 5 Miata for me on looks. Props.
