looking nice slos13 :bigtu: but don't throttle bodies not seel completely to let air in at idle or is that controlled with a stop in the throttle cable?

They seal at idle, IAC's or similar take care of idle air.

It seals excellent. I plugged the IACV feed holes (dunno what else to call 'em) with JBWeld and let it cure overnight before I installed it.

From the far away chair looking at the internet, skeptics can easily see that it won't seal correctly.

You did it. You say it seals, I believe you above all others. Right on!:skid:

Yeah borrowing it indefinitely from my older brother, until he wants it back anyways. I had to break out the ole flux-core for this one. Big one is out of gas and I'm extremely lazy. :fawk:

Thanks!. When I get some vid of it, I'll try to show how good it's sealed by putting a piece of paper around it or something when the car is running.

I tried taking a few vids of it this past weekend but I only have a digicam and the vids suck pretty bad.

What about the fuel air ratio's. Does this not change things drastically when you drive it open?

Or is it ok?

My ratio's changed when I finnally got my exhaust hooked up right. (instead of dangling under the car to the muffler shop) But mine was loose at the dp instead of after a resonator.

That is sweet!!!!!!

You do realize this thread is 8 months old right?

I have this at the end of my downpipe....
YouTube - Mazda Miata Turbo with Exhaust ByPass Valve

I've modded it since then to give more clearance. Nice and neat with a little switch for open/close.
