OK, this is not a thread to discuss if you need a dual feed rail or an upgraded rail, so please leave those comments out of here.

To all of those who do want a rail, I am making progress of setting this up. Not sure how far we are out at the moment since I do not control the manufacturing (which is here in the US btw). We are getting close to getting started. I will let everyone know as soon as the 94-97 rails are ready for final production and at that time we will start taking the orders. Once the initial 94-97 production run has been made, we will try and get the 99 run ready and hopefully it will be a success (which I don't see why not as the only thing to figure out will be the FPR). So sit tight my bitches, this is so happening!!!!

I am very excited, and I know the rest of you cheap-asses like me are too.

elesjuan-Sorry, no fancy anodizing or engraving, spray paint on the other hand is cheap and readily available, I may pick up a can of pink for ya and make it a real special one of a kind rail just for Juan.

Thanks to all who are contributing to help make this happen, everyone else will thank us for this later when they too realize they need a dual feed rail.

Ok, sorry i'm stupid, tha rails are drilled for -8 fittings, recommended lines are -6 (thanks Arkmage for the info, I do need it, so thanks) so you need -8 to -6 fittings (x2) Blue -6AN to -8AN Flare Reducer $6.49 at JEGS, maybe we can do a Ben style GB on these.

I don't know why they are drilled for -8 I am just going with the flow. I'll ask though and will let you all know.

Now the good news, someone from on here is close to the guy that makes the rails, that someone also owns a 94-97 rail and a 99 rail, and he is willing to take it to the rail guy for mock up. So we all win, we are so full of win right now that I wanna give away free rails, but I am not the one selling them so you still have to pay for yours.

I'll keep you all posted.

to save money and make routing easier dual -4 lines will be fine for most folks. the internal flow area of 2x -4 lines is just a ---- hair more than the area of the hardline to the engine bay.

-6 lines look more baller though

it would also be better if the rail could be threaded and spot faced for SAE fittings. this would allow you to position a 90* fitting anyway you want. NPT and AN don't have that feature. if it's not an option a straight AN/AN union can be used with a swivel female AN to male AN 90* fitting giving the same result with a little more clearance needed.

I haven't decided if I'm in yet or not... I'm still kind of waiting for the tuner toys rail myself... just because it's sexy.

Makes sense, we are kind of limited to what the guy builds so I'mm just gonna roll with it, but I did post the question whether we can cahange the thread size/type.

Thanks Abe, that is the thread I had in mind

Zabac - Don't think you will mind this post as I believe you were really just looking for a solution and were not making any money on this...

No Marc, I do not mind at all, I just got tired of waiting and decided to take matters into my own hands and set out to find someone who can do it. Great price indeed, tell us more about it, like fittings, what all is included, etc. I am interested!
I don't know what to do about the other rail guy, I got his hopes up, I feel bad now.
Maybe not, what does that fuel rail come with? PLease elaborate.
Thanks for the info though, much appreciated.

So no fittings? Just threaded for 1/4 NPT. This rail better look baller if I'm gonna buy it for $30 more than the one that looks ok.

Hands down I would get the one that works better. Anyone want to buy one of each, send me both for testing, and let me keep the one that works better? I'll even paint the other any color you want.

20-30 is no big difference at this point, both rails are priced really really really good. The one I am working on is $80 shipped, but that is not 100% sure, so I wasn't gonna put it out there yet, but here it is.
$80 shipped<$109 shipped, but again, no big deal, both rails are cheap as hell, but then again, more choices and competitors=the consumer wins, i am a consumer!!! lol
I am still undecided whether I should go through with this rail project, $109 is a damn good price.

There is something to be said for how the rails look on the inside, how the fuel gets to the injectors, etc etc. There could certainly be differences between them.

The other answer, though, is maybe any substantial improvement is enough, and it doesn't matter the details (leaving it at price/ease of install/cosmetics and lead time)
-Abe.
