Splitime, I've always wondered about the engine bracing, does it do much?. Also I think I have your car as my desktop background.

I dont currently have my car with me but Im N/A so Im sure you'll forgive me

It did/does work. The use of the angle iron bracket stuff to rig up the bases for it allow for some flex there. So it doesn't just destroy that turn buckle.

Cost me like 4 bucks to make?

That's so not the splitime piece - there's no cnc or tig welding

The easiest way to get an idea of what that piece will reduce, is to rev your engine by hand while watching it rock. Then think about what all the driving load and accel load does to it.

That brace is pure Splitime. I always said I had a friend fabbing for me . He has the tools... I have my ideas... if I had the same tools... it would be my work, but he has more toys than I do :P

Yeah I did a couple things to it...

I like that torque thing you did for the motor. I need to do something like that. Hmm... If you did it again would you do it differently? Might be a weekend project.
