The Levrimiter one had me lolling, but once he pushed out the knock-off sticker I busted a gut. The Riceland Ultimoose decals are great too. I have a buddy who just picked up a Miata with Ricelands on it, and I think he needs this decal.

Funny thread, but it got funnier since spotted my own car in Spade's post.... Package #3.



That was two years ago, when driving in a meet with a slammed Miata was cool.

LOL, "levrimiter" took me a minute to catch while starting at the stickers. Classic.

 

I sold my NA to buy a protege 5. My NB is my turbo'd car (had two miatas for a while).

About a week later, I saw a pic on fb of the car slammed down on big chromey wheels with purple lug nuts and a fake GV lip.

Then I found out that the DAY after I sold it he drifted it into a street lamp, messed up a fender. He and a friend bondo'd it and covered it in sharpie.

It made me sad... He said he had waited to post pictures of the streetlight carnage because he knew it would make me sad haha.

 

Sad, but not uncommon story.

Side note: I sold my 95 to buy a protege5. Wife wouldn't let me keep two 2-seaters.

 

Kelsey cried when I sold the NA. Our first date was a cruise in that car followed by sushi, and I used to let her borrow it all the time when she'd go shopping with a friend or whatever. She loooooved it.

But now we has boost. or at least we will when I get my turbo back from begi...

 

Over the years I've had 3 people total vehicles after purchasing them from me. Two of them were under a week and the third was under a month. All three of them were Mustangs. I've also found at least 2 cars I used to own in the junkyard.

Wife won't let me sell the Miata

 

I know someone as well that sold their clean NA to a yoloer. As you can guess, it was drifted into a wall. Can we just all agree to stop selling cars to these guys?

 

My worst fear is if I ever sell it, I'll hear it got wrecked/bro raped. Of course I wouldn't sell it to that sort of person...

 

This is why I can't bare to part with my project Camaro. I know it will get 26" wheels, a shitty 80's carb setup, and coilovers that will ruin the thin stamped shock towers, as well as some loud as **** two-tone pinstripe paintjob and an interfooler and useless cowl hood.

The dude who bought my 1990 Mustang GT launched off an onramp and into the backyard of a daycare center, then fled the scene. The DMV hadn't processed the release of liability yet and the Sheriff's department came looking for me when they looked up the VIN.

I mark up parts a ton when posting them to those groups. I hook up the track/autocross guys but when someone shows up in a car that can't get up my driveway they pay full price.

Knowing how I drove as a teen and if I ever decided to pass on my genetics, my kid is getting a 2 wheel drive/5 speed/Toyota truck from the 80's like my dad got me. Gutless, indestructible, can haul **** around, and cheap to own. I beat the **** out of that truck rallying it offroad and it never once quit on me.

Kid ain't touching anything I own till they can treat it like I do.

 

Irrelevant because you will never sell it. The part where we tell you what to do with your car is not over lol.
