Personally I like the 3M three part system. I used it on my '99 subaru and noticed more power and there was even a change in the way the exhaust sounds.

That's what I thought at first but the motor is a 92 and the short nose is 90 and early 91's

I've seen plenty of bad crank noses on long nose cranks. It's a matter of not having reassembled the crank pulley properly. Had a club member have the crank problem 5,000 miles after having had the dealer do a timing belt!!

Since it happened during seafoaming and not a timing belt change. My money is still on a bent rod. WHEN my diagnosis is proven correct, you can all bow down to me.

either way the motor was going to be junked soon..

lesson learned no real harm.. it was sad at first but now its kinda funny. its the first motor ive ever blown up.. thank fully its not my built motor cuz then id be pissed alot

i have no idea the history of hte car but the 200 or so miles ive put on it since i got it i beat the heck out of it.

Good possibility but I was just addressing the fact that a long nose crank can be crap too if the person doing the work screws up.

cause your crank wobble was barely allowing the alternator to spin, im sure your water pump wasn't spinning either.

that junk is toast, in for bent rod and melted pistons pictures.
