The carcass wouldn't fit in the back of the WRX and it had no wheels (or even hubs to mount them on) so a tow dolly was a no-go... I'm quite happy with my $40. It'll buy me like 16 24oz cans of Monster and Jolt- which will come in handy for the work I've got ahead of me on the project car.

That's $40 more than I have been able to get for the two stripped tubs I have out back. When I get the 99 stripped, I'll just call the scrap guy to pick up. Three tubs plus misc around the farm should make it worth his while. Also, I was suprised to see $200 if you drop off off. That's a lot of coin for a Miata shell, weight-wise.
what really is a shame is you didn't get the a/c hardlines out. a lot of them are discontinued.

It worked out well all around.
-I got a shitload of parts I need for the project car and a shitload of parts to sell to fund buying still more parts for the project car.
-The previous owner got some cash for her wrecked toy.
-The thieving ****** apparently got to smash the windshield with his skull.
And there's a moral to the story, too: If you're going to tempt karma, wear your seatbelt.
