I wanted to verify my 94-95 pinouts before I finalized the harness I'm building for some of you peeps.

There is absolutely no pinouts for the 94-95 like the 1.6L so I had to use my nogin. If anyone else out there has one can you verify I have mine correct? I'm 95% sure it's correct, but ya never know.

The Madricki diagrams are usless, so don't refer them to me

Damnit, don't ever say I never did something for you. I checked all the pinouts with my Hanes manual and the ones for the 1.6 match my manual. Still working on the 1.8...

 

i wish i could help scott, but im gonna use your 90-93 diagram in the next week or two since its far more easy to read compared to the madracki wiring diagrams.

Maybe we could change the title and make this a sticky once we verify the pinout and later add more stuff

 

The periwinkle wire that attaches to the flat green should instead attach to the baby blue wire that is attached to plaid?

 

that was the plan eventually. I've never tried to be secretive with anything I do.

however i did label the number of the pins wrong on the db37 harness. the shield is on 2 and orange on 20.

i spent a good amount of time tracing all the damn leads on the Madracki diagarms and everything seems kosher for the 94-95.

The 1.6L is 100% correct. I perfer it in this fashion compare to just a spreadsheet of all the pinouts, which I also have. It's a lot easier to just match colors with pin positions. I did go to art school, so it's just me.

 

ok looks like the i confused the 5vref with the Tps signal, so tps should be on 2M, the rest looks good. I'll correct it tomorrow. good night.

i do see a difference, on the 1.6 your calling the wires FAT, on the 1.8 you are calling them thick, whats up with that, is the 1.8 wiring harness sensitive to being called fat? lol...sorry

i have a wiring diagram, but the thing sucks ***. I just wanted to see if anyone had a simple pinout like:

2N - Red/BlU - o2
2M - Blu/Wht - TPS

but since I can only have mine for a 90-93 and one for a 96-97 and a 1999, i was hoping someone had one for a 94-95, which doesn't seem to exist.

but the only real difference is that the 1.6 has injectors 1,3 and 2,4 combined, where the 94-95 has them all seperated and then the fuel pump is activated through the harness, which the 1.6L isn't the rest is the same.



I'll have everyone's MS out this week. btw.

 

sweet...im excite...its back to driving the honda after 3 mos...i only got the thing to drive while miata has to sit out...it works out great in this case
