my car came with one from the factory, I removed it after the turbo install for something like 6 months cause I was too lazy to remember to put it back on. Once I did put it back on I felt ZERO difference in the car.

Same here with my autoexe 3 point brace, turn in and steering feel is better and more predictable. It did start pushing a bit more, but is now more neutralized the car cause I had a bit of oversteer bias.

sounds to me like the tower bar acts a little bit like sway bar in how it changes the balance and characteristics. i guess thatd mean that to keep the same balance youd need a rear tower bar to go along with it. on another note though, when i had my car apart it looked like mazda put in a rectangle support tube to each of the rear shock towers integrated into the unibody. would seem to me that itd be impossible to stiffen that point anymore. anyone feel a difference with the rear tower bar to prove me wrong? id like to be wrong.

It doesn't do anything. What you felt was in your head.

So do the front and rear brace at the same time and cancel out any push/oversteer characteristics. I already took off my rear sway bar and tune my shocks for slight understeer on the street. I'm sure you could easily tune out any effects of the bar.

I used mobil home sewer hose from walmart...I don't think that will take the heat abuse from a turbo though
