Default toluene ftw!

So I filled my car up, and it knocked bad... bad batch of gas. Bought 2 gallons of toluene, and threw one in the tank. Worked perfect, solved the knock! Im saveing my other gallon for the strip, 1 gallon of 114 octaine toluene and one gallon of 93 = 103 octaine. woot mo boost as long as my a/f keeps in check..

btw it was $12 a gallon.

Great to see another Toluene success story. I still find that the price they quoted you is pretty steep. Any way you can find another source? Any automotive paint manufacturer uses Toluene as the basic ingredient in Paint Thinner to speed up the drying process. Check it out.

While you're at it, I would suggest you look for 119 octane Racing Fuel from SUNOCO. I just bought a 5 gl can locally. It's much cheaper than Toluene.

you know whats cheaper than $12 a gallon?

opening up spark table #1, selecting all the boosted rows, putting a 3 in the text box, hitting "-", and then burning the changes.
