After a long night of sliding in the rain my poor torsen type 1 from a 94 R-package gave out. Im sure the numerous clutch kicks and 20psi of boost help'd kill it a little faster though. My passenger side alxe's u-joints also decided to snap and blow them selfs up.
Pics to come of the carnage once I get to work on removing everything
Im going to try and source a newer rear end for the supposedly stronger style axles that insert into the diff instead of having stubs pop out and everything being held in place with bolts. Can Anyone confirm that the newer style are stronger?
pic is from this morning after leaving it parked in a hotel parking lot.

Did you actually shoot that picture on a 1970's vintage Polaroid SX-70, or do you just have way too much time on your hands to fart around with photoshop?
Sounds like the torsen is fine and it's just the half shaft thats a problem.
One of the track guys here in Cali has blown up the joint on a half shaft like that but the actual torsen diff doesn't blow often (unless you are launching/on a prepped strip).
