Default Trying the etx14 battery

So I need a new battery and wanted a braille and decided on the 11.5# one since i wont have a upgraded stereo, the car isnt a dd, and our winters are getting less and less cold. Plus it will probably be put on a trickle charger since i dont drive the car very much. Well after some research it seems some people believe that the deka etx14 is the same as the braille.
I would have spent the extra money on the braille but my tire rack distributor said the standard case brailles were on b/o and they only had the carbon fiber ones. I wasnt going to spend $180 on a battery so i called our after market parts store and they dont sell deka but they crossed the part number and they actually sell the same battery but under the federated auto name.
So im putting it in tonight and will keep an update on how it does. It has 200 cca and i think around 500 or so cranking amps.

$92 wholesale price, which is $30 more than people were paying for the deka, but i had it next day, and it was still $50 cheaper than the braille.

well the car started. Just so you know the connections are different, all i did was stretch the circle out straight and it bolted up perfectly. I can still go back to the standard connection if i need to, but you have about an inch of metal sticking out away from the battery. Im just going to mod the boot so i dont accidently touch it and get shocked. Oh and this battery is ridiculously small, definetly need a modded hold down.
