I watched the videos of the WRX guy....oye vey. My 90 year old granny has a better RT than that clown. I'm not a WRX fan, but I'd certainly not judge the cars ability by that *** clown's driving skill. His dad is gonna be pissed he rode the clutch like Secretariat.
My fastest 60' time with the fat ford was 1.78 on drag radials. 12.7@107.
Now granted, that car was 330WHP and right around 350lb/ft of TQ.
Driver skill and launch are paramount to a solid run. Bouncing off the rev limiter is a sure sign of a drag noob.
Lastly, there is no way on gods earth that i'd post a video of any drag that i'd done granny shifting. Christ. LT powershift or GTFO.
I said good day!

I pulled over in baltimore to get a hotel on my way to Texas. At 2am I was looking at my laptop in my truck and some freak knocked on the window and tried to sell me a camcorder....WTF? The bums sleeping on the vent grates was nice too.
The good news is I feel better about where I live after visiting that craphole lol.

people. the wrx and sti respond very well to a tune. and bolt ons. and built motors. i just sold my 08 sti that was laying down 414whp on pump @ 21psi. gt35r and a built motor will do that for you. not sure what the car would do in the quarter. probably about 12.xx at 120 or so. my buddy has a 600whp subie that is running in the mid 9's, awd, 6 speed.
why get a miata? cheap. cheap to build. cheap to race. feel good about having a car that is slower, cheaper, and handles better. they are not comfortable or especially quick, but they handle well and respond well to a bit of boost.
