I dunno, I went straight to an ACT. I do know that a local friend with an M45 on a 1.6 had melted a stock clutch -- perhaps the stock 1.6 clutch is weaker.

When I was running my BEGI S1 with a 2554 my stock clutch started slipping around 6psi or so.

I still have a shred of hope that this is a good idea, even if my brain tells me I'm wrong
