No, not at all. The JDM 1.6 and the USDM 1.6 are the same. The reason people get them is 1) They can be had really cheap. 2) In Japan, they used the 1.6 in the 94's and up so your geting a newer motor. And 3) most of the JDM motors will only have around 35,000 miles on them. Oh and, there really cheap!

Beware of random importers though. I could swear that Osaka was one of the ones that scammed many many honda people out of motor swaps.

Buyer beware.

Thats weird. I've never heard anything bad about Osaka. Then again, I really dont know any Honda people and anybody I talked to who order through them ordered SR's and 13B's.

Yes, there is a ton of bad stuff. But 95% of that bad stuff was from 3+ years ago when Osaka first opened and most of them were about stupid stuff like cut wiring harness and they were all honda motors. The newer posts most of the people said there motors were great and really clean. I'm not saying your wrong, but I'm also not saying your right. From my own person experinces, its a decent company that sucked *** when they first opened. But once again, my expericences where non honda related.
