I don't know, I'm so closed-minded I've never bothered to check. Go ask one of the retards at CR.net.

You question every comment I make. I like my 225's. They are wide and sticky and work well. Ideally I would have two hot sticky gum ***** instead of tires, but the 225's were on sale so I got them instead.

I think we'd all appreciate it if you didn't hit reply or quote ever again.

Haha,

Thanks guys. I'll be sure to post tons of pics of my stretched 205s once they're on: I know that **** gives you wet dreams.

I'm afraid you're stuck with me though, I need people who can actually help me tune my megasquirt.

Well, from what I have seen and read, a 195/50 on a 15x7 ET20 rim will fit fine with some rolling... A 205/40 on a 16x8 ET 20 should stick out about 5mm further. I think that much would be acceptable, though with your car so low it is really hard to say...

I say just get aggressive with the fender rolling. Your fender liners are already out, it might work out.

Everyone will be happy to know that I spent a few extra bucks to buy a new set of 16x8s in ET34 instead of buying the used ET20s.

Still planning to run 205s though, just to be safe.

Smart decision. The stance will still be badass, and the car is going to handle better.

I am so endlessly entertained by the arguments between the stretched and function guys. Stretched tires are a styling trend, nothing more. Just like luggage racks on a Miata. To each his own, be it wine and cheese ot just plain rice.

What's sad is how many impressionable noobs get sucked into wanting freaky stretched tires and a certain offset number without ever knowing the difference. Culture and style thing, gotta be like the cool kids. No basis is actual vehicle dynamics whatsoever.
