Just got in my Kraken low mount stuff and now working on sourcing the last bits and pieces needed, one of those is the water inlet. The car is retaining ac/and heater, no PS.
The best option that is available as of now is the Hawley billet inlet. I am concerned about running the 3/4 heater hose down to the -6. So I was thinking of either drilling and tapping the -6 hole for -12 or having a -12 bung welded on. Then on the side of the inlet have a -6 bung welded or fitting tapped.
For those who work in a machine shop or have experience doing these things, would it be cheaper to have a shop drill and tap the threads, or just drill and weld the bungs? Any reason to go with one or the other?
