Default What is this thing pre-turbo

Hey guys, a friend showed me this picture, and I have no idea what the thing is before the turbo. Anybody know? I have no details on the car and the only thing i could think of is some type of pre turbo water injection, but i'm doubtful.

That is the air flow meter AKA AFM. It tells the stock ecu the temp and airflow via a flapper valve. Its turned on it's side compared to how it normally mounts.

Definitely a Greddy turbo kit, with clocked compressor housing.

If you're talking about the hose that appears to be attached right at the turbine inlet, it's probably a return for a recirculating bypass valve.

So what's that hose after the afm? Tiny flexible recirc tube? Fitting doesn't look any bigger than an oil return line.
