Default coolant sensor or fan switch?

I have a '90 miata and on top of the thermostat housing there is either a sensor or switch that broke in half(don't ask). It has a 1-prong connector in the top of it but i lost that part(again, don't ask) so I don't know what it's called, help me out?

thermoswitch - dig into the switch top and find the lead, then solder a wire to it, and use a spade connector to connect the two wires.

N350-18-840, US dealer retail $45. No idea what it goes for in Canada, but as their typical custom, I'd expect a fair bit more.

Another source for a part like that is at the Hyundai dealership. They use the Mazda motors in some of their cars and the parts are sometimes cheaper.

isnt the one a radiator fan and the other the ac fan? the other fan should come on when you turn ur ac on. if u want them to both turn on at the same time try this http://www.miatamx5.com/fans.html
