I'm in the midst of a VVT conversion in a 92 Miata and was wondering if anyone has a schematic for wiring up the 2001 coils to the 92 harness?

I'm running a DiYPnP and the DIYAutotune VVT controller.

Any help would be appreciated.

There's really not anything to running those coils off the DIYPNP. They're triggered by 5v logic level, which is what the DIYPNP standard outputs are. All you'll need to do is wire IGN1 to the trigger on the first set and IGN 2 to the trigger on the 2nd set. You may find it easier to run the trigger through the DB15 connector instead of through the stock wiring, but either way will work fine.

I know I am dragging up an older thread but I was wondering if anyone had the wiring for the 01 up coils. I am trying to get this all wired up and get rid of the 90 coil pack bolted to the valve cover.
